Dear Family and Friends,
This week has of course, been insane. It was changes week again, and no I am the only driver here in the offices so I am a taxi for everyone. I was the official taxi designated by President for his wife and a sister missionary that was going home in the afternoon yesterday. So we got to go to some really cool sight seeing places, the mission president´s wife bought us really expensive mexican food and we had a great time. I feel guilty but it was great. I particularly enjoyed it and made a nice ending for changes week. Before that, it was very crazy with all the problems that pop up but everything went well. I am quite sad that all of my friends are leaving the mission and that now I never have a chance being companions with them. Lots of great missionaries are leaving and it shows. When I entered the mission, my first month we beat our record the mission has ever had by baptizing 186 in one month. The month of January we baptized 76 in total. So that is quite a difference. But we have a lot of hope in all these new missionaries that have arrived recently. A lot are studs and will be great servants in the work.
This week we had absolutely zero time to work and now we have tons of work to do still but soon things will be normal and we will be leaving at night again to feel normal and chill a bit. My companion is now mostly in charge of all the hard things so I am happy! Just have to keep teaching him and then life will be smooth. Kind of excited to get out of here finally but I will miss it. Also driving in this country has been an experience I will never forget. Just have to keep my fingers crossed that I survive the 6 months without crashing once. That would be a great feat and then I would be assured I will never crash in the states. It´s a good feeling.
Other than that, we got some great photos recently that I will send. Love you, take care this week!

I don´t have too much to say this week to be honest. Had some strange experiences but nothing too crazy. We had to take an Elder to the hospital at 10:30 when we should already be in bed, got home at 12:00 AM. Then we slept for two hours and then we got him from the hospital and took him back home and we got home at 3:30 AM and I am really tired but oh well! It was really funny seeing Uruguay late at night on the weekend. Trust me, some of these people get weird. I saw a van stop in the middle of the intersection when we drove by the mall, Some teens got out, and then the girl just started running, the guy got back in and then they quickly drove off while I was sitting there at the red light. I couldn´t say that was a normal thing I have seen before.
We had a very busy week as I close up being the Chequero and my companion starts taking over. Feels weird that I am already in my last change in the offices. I feel like I just started here two weeks ago. Already 18 weeks here in Malvin. Can definitely say it has been a great experience. I am in love with it here in Malvin of Montevideo. My good friend from my group who is one of the secretaries leaves the offices next week which depresses me quite a bit. He has been a ton of fun, great person to learn from and talk to, and a great source of fun. We loved making desserts together and discussing doctrine for hours, trying to figure out this immense plan God has for us. Can´t say it will be easy saying goodbye to him. On the bright side, I get to watch Meet the Mormons with the other offices elders, APs, Zone leaders and President in a half hour so that is another huge perk of being here! I am so excited to see that, and will send what I think of that next week. Still crazy to think I was in the MTC a year ago trying to figure out how to say, What is your name? In spanish. Now I have to resolve problems with homeowners and real estate agents everyday in Spanish. All that progress in just one year. Kind of incredbile thinking back.
Next week is the week of changes and I don´t think I am ready for round four doing changes in the offices. It is always such a crazy week with no sleep and lots of junk food at all hours of the day and night. But I am still excited. Can´t wait to meet all the missionaries and see how they feel and see their excitement and anxiety. I love being able to talk to them and help them the way I was helped. They always ask us tons of questions and it is fun being able to talk to them in their first day of the next two years of their lives.
Other than that, I love you all and wish you a wonderful week. Until next Saturday!

Dear Family and Friends,
So this week has once again been really great! Always so darn busy, but we just keep going! This week we had a conference for new missionaries and sometimes missionaries come from far away areas. So they ask me to help them, by paying their way back. So only four asked me, but knowing forgetful missionaryes, I took out a big check just to be sure, and took a lot more money than I was planning. Sure enough, 10 missionaries asked me to pay afterall and I barely had enough even with all the extra money I took out. So they are super lucky! I hope they will remember next time to ask beforehand, or maybe they won´t be able to get back to their areas!
We also went to the Montevideo sign that shows in the pictures and took a bunch of goofy photos and here are a few. We had to go really early in the morning before the people go to the beach because of obvious reasons. But it was super fun finally going to that, considering it is in the other mission. Not many missionaries from our mission have been able to go there so I count myself lucky!
I also saw a really cool painting in the flea market here, and bought it for 8 dollars which I am so excited about. I have wanted to buy a urguayan paiting for so long, and now I finally have one. Go me.
Regarding the beautiful work of God, we have made a lot of progress in this area. Before the Financiers didn´t leave hardly at all but now we have a few investigators and we leave a lot more doing proselyting. Even though we have investigators now, they are not showing much progress so we really have to figure out what to do about that. I am kind of stumped with these people, but I am sure we will find a way! It has been a long while since I have had some success in regards to baptizing here since we have such little time. But we will still make the effort to make it happen! This area has only had one baptism in the past 3 years so wish us luck!
The other little problem is that changes are coming up soon so we have a lot of preparation to do for that, and won´t have much time this week. Especially since I am preparing for my last change here in the offices and have to teach my companion everything about being the ¨Chequero¨. So now he will be in charge of everything and I go back to the easy responsibilities and helping/teaching him. With the time coming close, I am especially curious as to where I will go after here. I still will have not left the captial after the first 14 months of my mission so we will see if it will be time for that coming end of March.
Other than that stuff, I love you guys a lot. Crazy to think that yesterday I had my one year anniversary of being in the mission. Less than a year left here already. Crazy to think where the time has gone. I will just have to make the most of this second half!
Take care!
